Carrie Raymond
Carrie moved with her family to WY in 2016 after her husband retired from the USMC.  After searching for a gymnastics class for her daughter, she saw a need and opened Tongue River Twisters in June 2017.  Her experience includes over 20 years of gymnastics, cheer, and dance.  She holds multiple certifications with USAG and is currently a level 8 rated judge.  She can often be found goofing around with all the kids that come in the gym and can be heard for miles around!  It is no secret that her voice travels far and her laugh is unique.  She is driven by a firm faith in God, love for the sport, love for all the kids and love for the community she now calls home.

I have always had an interest in gymnastics and growing up in Sheridan it was hard to pursue. I bounced between many gyms and even taught myself skills. Once the gym opened I was first in line and have been here since day one. I started off training and competing until Carrie took me under her wing and started teaching me how to coach. I have now been coaching for around 3 years and love it! I love getting to know each kid individually and working with them to reach their goals. For me as a coach it is important for me to put in my full effort and give these kids the skills and confidence they need to pursue their dreams!

Morgan Shepardson

Hi I am Coach Morgan! I was a competitive gymnast for 15 years in Colorado, and am still competing today (although I am not nearly as impressive now as I was as a level 10) I have been coaching gymnastics off and on for 15 years, and coaching competitive team gymnastics for the last 3. I love the sport, and all that it brings to our young folks. I am originally from Colorado, and moved to Wyoming 7 years ago. My husband, daughter, and I moved from Cheyenne, WY to Sheridan two years ago and fell in love with the town and with Tongue River Twisters. I work full time as an office manager, and coach at night. My family and I have a passion for anything outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, kayaking, motorcycling, snowboarding, you name it. I currently coach our competitive team, mostly Excel Gold, but I coach all of the other levels as well (even adults). My gymnasts and the sport are my passions, and I love seeing young people work hard and succeed. Can’t wait to see you in class!
